Greetings, Royal Families!
I am so excited to join the Riverdale Family as principal. As a native of Orlando, and the product of OCPS Title I Schools, I decided at an early age to dedicate my career to the service and education of Florida’s Children and families and to the leadership of those who provide instruction and support to students as a school leader.
For the past 22 years, I have served as a Reading Teacher, Dean, Associate Professor, Adult ESOL Instructor, and Assistant Principal which have all prepared me to embark on this journey to lead Riverdale to even greater success. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be working with such a dynamic group of educators, students and families as the proud principal of Riverdale Elementary School! I believe in leading learners to increased achievement through the implementation of high yield instructional strategies, progress monitoring, and building strong relationships with students as well as their families. I also strive to provide students and their families with academic, career, extra-curricular, and social/emotional learning opportunities that will help them to actualize their inner excellence as they pursue their future endeavors.
